Pretty much the first thing I did when I received Leonard, or as he's previously known as ~LilMissDoeEyes' Ratchet, on Christmas day along with this lovely fuzzy warm new hoodie. I had a deviantART hoodie for about three years but lost it at a cheeseburger festival last august. Since then I've been in desperate need of a new hoodie. I begged my parents for Leon but the hoodie was a surprise so I wanted to have a picture of both of my Christmas gifts together which turned out to be my facebook picture and skype profile picture.
I'm gonna be honest, When I first saw this soft mount on Etsy, I had no clue who Leslie was or that she was a popular taxidermist. As I talked to her and her admirers and everything unfolded before my eyes I must say I feel quite honored and lucky that I was the one to obtain such a beautiful mount from a talented woman.
I swear this fox amazes me more and more by the day and I know I've said this before but I'm gonna say it again. He's the "Crown Jewel" of my expanding collection.
I am expecting some other taxidermy pieces of which once they arrive in the mail, a group picture will be taken and there will be many more photoshoots.
If you want to see more pictures of Leonard, or 'Ratchet', I have a tag for him on tumblr called 'Leonard the fox'.
[I'm even surprised no one questioned an animal sitting up like that when my facebook and tumblr friends thought he was a pet]
